Ingham State High School
Guest Speaking
Thank you so much to Ingham State High School, Official and Deana Blackford for inviting me as this years guest speaker for the Year 10 Beacon Charter Signing. My family and I, all past graduates of Ingham High loved walking through the school grounds and catching up with our past teachers! I was honoured to be asked to share my insight into the transition from schooling in Ingham to the workplace and then onto starting a business. I am very proud of the year 10 class for all of their efforts this week. I hope you enjoyed my message of “Give it a Go” and the “Splinter in my bum” story . I wish you all the very best for your future endeavours.
A special mention to my beautiful daughter, Amarli who delivered her first Welcome to Country as a Traditional Owner in language. Babilan (Nanny) and I are so incredibly proud of you
Also, a huge thank you to Mr Tierney, what a legend! Always was and always will be - my favourite teacher!
Lastly, thank you to my family. I am truly blessed with your support. Look how deadly you all look!
