We got up! We stood up! We showed up!

We have never been so proud! Thank you so much to the St Clare’s community for allowing us to be apart of your NAIDOC liturgy for 2022.

This is the story of Nayba Marli Warrginy Djingarabali (My Good Boomerang Dreaming)

This story relates to teaching young ones that when you put good things out there, that good things will come back to you in return.

All of the kids were so excited to be painted up in front of their peers, singing in language and performing their favourite animals movements. It was truly a special moment.

Thank you so much to Ashley Saltner from Wulgurukaba Walkabouts for playing the didgeridoo and welcoming us to your country and a huge thank you to parents for helping us paint up our young ones.

We certainly can’t wait to see what next year brings.
